Account Manager

Postion Overview

As an Account Manager at Gyro, your role is critical to the success of our clients and to the Gyro team. You are the conduit facilitating all aspects of a project or program from the start to finish; on time, within budget and at the highest level of quality. You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. You are a creative thinker who is resourceful and has an entrepreneurial spirit. You are proactive and quickly respond to clients, Gyro team and partners’ communications. You have the ability to anticipate challenges and risks and you work collaboratively with the Gyro team and clients to ensure the success of all projects.

Job Description

From the inception of a project, you help to define the scope, budget and timeline for proposals as assigned. You will serve as the primary client contact on day-to-day development, management, and execution of projects from conception to launch. You are the central point of communication and are accountable for the accurate and timely flow of information between the client and the internal team.  You ensure that all milestones are met and partners with the Creative Officer, Director of Strategy and Director of Operations on all key relationships.

You will facilitate internal Gyro team meetings as well as client meetings to ensure discussions and meeting objectives are met. You will work directly with strategy, design, writing and leadership in developing and delivering projects and programs that meet or exceed the client’s expectations.

You are a strategic thinker and will develop a broad view of the accounts you are assigned to. Your input during internal planning and work sessions energizes you and guides your overall perspective of each project; your engagement on this level helps to ensure team morale and therefore, success. You will possess a strong understanding of the client’s specific project objectives, goals and overall business needs and deliver client recommendations that ensure the overall success of the project.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, marketing or closely related field.

  • Four + years’ experience in account management or project management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, clients and vendors.

  • Experience working with designers, writers, and production teams.

  • Should have an understanding of brand strategy, design, production, and print processes.

  • Superior organization, time management, planning and prioritization skills.

  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented, creative thinker.
