Account Manager

As an Account Manager at Gyro, your role is critical to the success of our clients and for the Gyro team. You are the conduit facilitating all aspects of a project or program from the start to finish; on time, within budget and at the highest level of quality. You are an excellent communicator, both verbally and written. You are a strategic and creative thinker who is resourceful and has an entrepreneurial spirit. You are proactive and quickly respond to clients, Gryo team and vendors' communications. You have the ability to anticipate challenges and risks and you work collaboratively with the Gyro team and clients to ensure the success of all projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary client contact and central point of communication on day-to-day development, management, and execution of projects from conception to launch.

  • Set project expectations, define success, generate timelines and manage project budgets.

  • Facilitate internal Gyro team meetings as well as client meetings to ensure meeting objectives are met and next steps are defined.

  • Work directly with strategy, design, writing and leadership in developing and delivering projects and programs that meet or exceed the client’s expectations.

  • Ensuring the success of the project by having a solid understanding of the client’s specific project objectives, goals and overall business needs.

  • Participate in client workshops, work sessions and the development of project deliverables.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, advertising, marketing or closely related field

  • Three + years’ experience in account project management or related field

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, clients and vendors

  • Experience working with designers, writers, strategists, and production teams

  • Should have an understanding of brand strategy, design, production, and print processes

  • Superior organization, time management, planning and prioritization skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-guided – you have the ability to move forward without needing constant direction or approval

  • Punctual

  • Open-minded and highly collaborative – you are open to ideas of others and work toward a common/goal result

  • You are a strong leader who always demonstrates a positive attitude and approaches every situation with an open mind
